The train contained about fifty solid cars of California fruit; destined for Chicago and eastern markets, and was running on faster time than .ordinary freight trains on account of the perishable perish-able lialuro of the cargo. Some of the derailed cars are piled on lop of each other, and the descending grado at (he point where tho wreck occurred oc-curred makes It more difficult to handle the wreck. George Wall, a representative representa-tive of the Pacific Fruit Express company com-pany at. Option, will leave tomorrow morning to superintend the reloading of the scattered fruit. |
