Show THE "HOME" OPENING. There will be opened today new and enlarged quarters for the occupancy of an institution of beneficent purposes and great effectiveness for good. The Orphans' Homo and Day Nursery was inaugurated twenty-sis years ago. It first occupied a building on First South and Twelfth East streets. The directors sold that for $2500 and bought the premises on State street near Twelfth South which they occupied for a great many years, but sold recently, with the buildings, for $10,000. With this and other funds they have built a $50,000 home on Tenth South and. Twelfth East with a capacity for caring for two hundred hun-dred children. This magnificent enterprise enter-prise is entirely supported by voluntary subscription. In the enurse of the labors of the Association they have cared for some three thousand children, and have done the work in a way to be beyond criticism crit-icism for purity of motive and efficiency of service, and to" the daily advantage of large numbers of little folks and their mothers. Johnson, Mrs. Ed Kimball, Mrs. Rachel Miller. Mrs. J. E. Oglcsby, Mrs. Sol Stegol, Mrs. E. I. Thorn. At the opening of the new quarters this afternoon there will be something worth seeing.
