Show PRESIDENT TS BUSY WITH FORK AND AX OYSTER BAY, July t-President Itoosovelt in tho first ten days of his vacation va-cation has succeeded in doing considerable work In the fields and woods on his grounds at Sagamore Hill, besides entertaining enter-taining many visitors and holding conference confer-ence with Mr. Taft. His activity never halts. If thero is no work on the grounds of his estato he spends his tlmo In. reading read-ing or In recreation In the form of tennis, ten-nis, riding, swimming or rowing. Splendid Splen-did weather, though somewhat warm, has favored tho President during the ten days of his vacation. About the President's homo on Saga-moro Saga-moro Hill are several fields, which this year grow good crops of hay. Taking advantage of tho fine weather, i the President went Into tho fields and helped to do the raking and mowing. The hay crop having been harvested, the President has turned hla attention to tho clearing of a stretch of woods, comprising about forty acres, recently purchased by him to enlargo his estato. With his ax on his shoulder, accompanied accompa-nied by his attendant, also with an ax, tho President this morning started out for a few hours' work at tree chopping beforo be-foro receiving some guests who had been invited to Sagamore Hill for lunch today.
