Show WEEKLY HEALTH BULLETIN SHOWS BIRTHS IN LEAD Thirty-one births and 22 deaths were reported to the board of health during the past week. Of the deaths, thero were 19 males and 12 females. Of the births, thero were 11 males and 11 females. fe-males. Three bodies wero shipped here for burial. There were reported during the week 2G cases of contagious and infection.'? diseases, consisting of: Smallpox, 5; scarlet fever, 1; diphtheria, 1; whooping whoop-ing cough, 15, and 1 case of measles. Four cases of smallpox aro at the Isolation Iso-lation hospital. Five houses on account of smallpox, thirteen on account, of scarlet fever and three on account of diphtheria remain in quarantine at the end of the week. |
