If fighters continue con-tinue to draw tho color line, it will only be a question of time when the colored pugilists will either bo compelled to fight men of their own color or quit the ring forever In the last twelve months a great many white pugilists have openly declared that they would never meet a colored boxer, no matter how big a purse was offered for the battle. The latest flghler to draw the color line is Stanley Kctchel, the middleweight champion of the world Kctchel was offered a fight with Sam L,nngford, the colored fighter of Boston, to he fought at Jim Coffroth's club at Colmn.
