Show mm mis is on IIS WAYTOTHE CITY Will Be Met at Station hy Delegation Dele-gation From Cambrian Association. According io advices received by John James, corresponding secretary of tho Cambrian association, the Denver I competition chorus left that city over the Denver & Rio Grande railroad Monday Mon-day morning and will be duo to reach this city Tuesday noon. It is expected that the party will number nearly 200, including the" competition chorus, the male chorus and the various soloists nnd mombers of quartettes. The party will be met at the station by a delegation of the Cambrian association asso-ciation with automobiles and escorted to their hotels. Arrangements will also be mado to have .a band furnish music at the station and accompany the party as far as the business section ot the city. It is the intention of the committee commit-tee having this matter in charge to make tho welcomo of tho Denver people peo-ple one of the fenttires of the Eisteddfod, Eistedd-fod, and they will be shown every attention at-tention while" in Salt Lake City. A recoption has been planned at the Commercial club Tuesday evening by the Badger club as au honor to Dr. Daniel Dan-iel Protheroo of Milwaukee, who is to be the musical adjudicator at the Eisteddfod, and it is probable that Dr. Ifouscley, the conductor of tho Denver Den-ver chorus, will also be present. A number of musical numbers will be given at the reception by somo of the Denver soloists. Mrs. B. P. Anderson, a former resident resi-dent of this citv. who has recently completed com-pleted her studies at the Leipsic Conservatory Con-servatory of Music, will pla.y a violin solo. As this is to be Mrs. Anderson's first public appcaranco here sinco her return from abroad, the event will bo of unusual interest. |
