OCR Text	Show VERDICT FOR EMERY IN DISTRICT COURT In Judge Lewis's division of the Third District court Monday a .illr3' rendered a verdict in favor of the defendant de-fendant in the case of Eliza Thomas against C. Frank Emery, Sheriff of Salt Luke county, to recover $255.50 collected col-lected by Sheriff Emory on a writ of garnishment, obtained in Justice Louis Brown's court at Murray February 5, this year, directed against the Utah Savings' and Trust company in favor of A. Madsen & Soils company. Mrs. Thomas claimed exempiton for tho money on the grounds that it was the savings of her minor son, Lcland S.' Thomas, only 19 years old.
