The convention committee of the Commercial Com-mercial club will hold a meeting Tuesday Tues-day afternoon at 12:30 with the members of the committee from the various G. A. l. organizations in Salt Lake to discuss tho holding of the national enenmpment here in tho latter part of the summer of 1909. Since the subjoct was first taken up several weeks ago, by the Grand Army men here, a good many details of the affair have been discussed with a view to determining the support that might be oxpectod by the various clubs, and especially by the Commercial club. The opinion has been expressed by several prominent members of tho club that It would bo an excellent thing for the city to have the encampment here not only for the advertisement which would bo given by the people who might be expected ex-pected to come hero from all over tho United States, but on account of the actual number of pooplo who might come to liu'ost money In various enterprises a a result of the holding of the encampment. encamp-ment.
