Four residences In the clt were ontered last night by thieves. In each enso the robbers were driven away before they succeeded In securing se-curing anything of value. They were bold, even going Into bedrooms where the Inmates were sleoplng and lighting matches In order to make a more thorough thor-ough search of the premises. The men are suspicious-looking characters, and they will be subjected to a thorough Investigation. In-vestigation.
