Show WOMAN IS EVIDENTLY SEEKING NOTORIETY PORTSMOUTH, N. JL, Feb. 27. Mrs. Paul E. Roy, or Calla, as she is better known, arrived here today front Now York. She was accompanied by a dozen or fifteen reporters and newspaper news-paper photographers, and as many more met her when the train arrived here. On tho trip from Boston Mrs. Roy talked freely to her interviewers, and posed many' times for the camera men. In her talk regarding the alleged murder mur-der of her brother. George A. Cjirkinu, at Ncwington, in January, 113- her husband, hus-band, Mrs. Roy did not add anything of importance to" the story told by her in New York last night. Upon her arrival in Portsmouth she went at once to the office of County Solicitor Bachelder, where it was understood she would make affidavit to her ston' of tho death of Carkins, and the circumstances both leading up lo and following tho tragedy. Mrs. Roy announced her intention of remaining in Portsmouth so long as thu authorities desired her presence, and sho also said she would do anything in hei power to aid the authorises in then prosecution of her husband. . |
