Six Witnesses Examined. Six witnesses were examined by tho defense de-fense during the day. Their testimony, taken as a whole, tended to show that Wilson was of a quarrelsomo disposition, In tho habit of carrying a gun, and that he had tho reputation of a man who would uso a gun. The testimony also tended to show that Wilson made a motion mo-tion as If ho -was drawing a gun before Thomas drow his weapon. All of the witnesses testified that Thomas's reputation reputa-tion for being quiet and peaceable was good. Defense Not Yet Through. Tho defenso had not rested at the hour of adjournment, and tho examination of witnesses will bo resumed this morning. |
