The faculty committee on graduation, at a meeting held last evening, discussed the advisability advisabil-ity of the change and it is probable that they will make such a recommendation to the faculty at Its regular meeting on Monday next If the committee makes this recommendation it Is quite likely that the faculty will adopt It. In this event there will be an absence of spread-eagle student oratory at the commencement exercises. Reasons for ADolishing Addresses. There are several reasons why the committee com-mittee feels inclined to urge tho discontinuance discon-tinuance of thesu addresses at commencement. commence-ment. In the first place many American colleges have abolished them entirely, while the colleges which have retained them have the addresses made on sonlor class day.
