Show GATHERS IN M NEVMGLA1S Harry Cole Accumulates Some Manhattan Ground With Fine Surface Showings. TWO ENTIRELY NEW GROUPS ACQUIRED Companies Will Be Formed to Handle and Develop the Claims. From a two weeks' visit to the camp or Manhattan, Broker Horry Cole has returned more than ever Impressed with the possibilities of this great excitement center of Nevada. While Mr. Cole Is authority au-thority as to the largo number of Salt Lakers who uro getting Into Manhattan most successfully, he is himself on example ex-ample of theso, having been successful In adding to his Interests while there to a most goneroiiB extent. "Will Incorporate New Company. Northwest from the town of Manhattan are four full claims, the surface show-lugs show-lugs of which will compare favorably with any thnt the district bus produced. It Is the Intention of Mr. Cole and his associates to Incorporate a company for tho purpose of taking over these claims and developing from them a mine In Importance Im-portance that will compare with those that surround It. Associated with him In this group are J. A. Bagley, G, K Smith, F. A. Davis, R. Brewer and Chllds & Cole of this city. Another Location of Rich Claims. Recently, while In this city. W. H Clark displayed some extraordinarily rich free gold ore from a group of claims located by him several miles southeast of the camp of Manhattan He predicted at tho time that this portion of the district would soon blossom out Into a wonder. Mr. Cole on this lust visit succeeded In becoming interested with several parties of prominence In the mining clrlces of Nevada In a group of eight claims adjoining adjoin-ing those located by Mr. Clark. Fine Surfnce Showings. The surface showings are stated by Mr Cole to bo extremely line, free gold showing show-ing In abundance, and assays will undoubtedly un-doubtedly run very high. The ledges have every Indication wherever touched of being strong, and will go deep most encouragingly no doubt. With Mr. Cole In this group are Interested J. J Shock-ley, Shock-ley, J. V. McMillan and A. H. Mayne. They will Incorporate a company to handle han-dle this group. Manhattan on the Boom. Mr. Cole states that the weather conditions condi-tions prevailing In Manhattan have greatly great-ly retarded development work on almoBt all properties.
