Hjt ! - The total number of actions of all t kinds filed In the District court during H' f April was 74, out of which 22 were dl- H' vorce, giving 3.3G of all suits tried pro- H if ceedings for annulment of the rriar- Hp i$ riagc bonds. Of the 74 complaints filed j ,r eight were' accompanied with affidavits 1 If of impecunloalty; in other words, eight Hi! were charity cases. H ' i, For the same month last year April, t .1303 only 53 cases were filed in the Dls- trict court; but of these 13 were actions for divorce, making the ratio of divorce cases to all others 4.53, or 1,17 higher than the proportion for the past month. The figures show that the divorce evil is constantly increasing and the figures fig-ures cunnot be refuted.
