THE PRIMARIES LAST NIGHT Last night primaries In this city were peaceful and quiet though In now n-ow of the < > loctlc districts there were mild contestn for delegates principally on the choice of candidates for Repre I sentatlvoj The principals In these fights of course claim all In sight and IC there were aa many delegates In Salt Lako as thp candidates claim votes then this county would awnmp the convention con-vention without noticeable opposition However what contests there nre are goodnatured and easy and will not leave bitterness The delegates chosen are good representative citlxcns and will no doubt faithfully represent = those whose chose them There Is to be a meeting of the delegates this afternoon In tho old City Hull near the corner of First South and State streets for the purpose of organization
