" "Not such a Fool as he Looks" is an excellent comedy, and was finely rendered. Mr. Cogswell made a capital Simple; while Miss Walters as the druuken old woa:an rendered a disagreeable part in artistic manner. Indeed, the entire cast was well ! presented. The playing of captain Croxall's band was loudly and descrv-, descrv-, edly rnc'ired; and Mr. Harris' stump speech was au excellent thiog, well given and contaiiiiugsfjme capital bits; yet the feature of the evening was ucdouLtcdly the concert p2rt, vrhich took many of the audicave by surprise for the superior talent displayed and the style in which it was given. The ladies forming the chorus were iressed witli simple taste and looked charmingly, charming-ly, while their sieging was decidedly good.
