TA KEFTJND DEMANDED Union Refrigerator Transit Company Sues Salt Lake County The Union Refrigerator Transit company has entered suit in the Third district court to recover from the treasurer treas-urer of Salt I ake county the sum of 576 alleged to have been unlawfully assessed and collected for taxes The plaintiff alleges that it is a corporation cor-poration existing under the laws of Kentucky and is engaged in the business busi-ness of furnishing refrigerator cars for the transportation of perishable goods Ten cars came to Utah and were assessed as-sessed by the state board of eaualiza tion at the sum of 2600 of which 210 was the apportionment for Salt Lake county and the tax on the same amounted to So76 which plaintiff paid under protest It is alleged that the cars were not allowed to remain in the state did not belong there and should not have been taxed Wherefore Where-fore the plaintiff pi ays judgment for the sum of 5576
