Did They Want the Boy or the Money I The story told by Harry J Ferguson a bellboy at the Richelieu hotel in Chicago recently to the effect that he had been kid naped from his home in New York state when five years of age and that he had fallen heir to 80000 has led to unexpected developments A fashionable dressmaker claims the boy as her son She says she was divorced from August J Ferguson the lads father in New York and moved to Chicago where she married a man named Norton since deceased She picked Harry out of a group of boys as her son and in further proof of his identity and her knowledge of it described certain marks upon his body She also related to the lad a number of incidents of childhood which he did not remember till she called them to his mind Several other people wanted to establish relationship to tIlt lad but when it became known that his fortune was really less than 1000 they withdrew i their claims
