| Show The Heal Estate Brokers The Ogden real estate exchange met at the usual hour yesterday with but a limited number of brokers present No business of any nature was transacted other than tho discussion of a scheme presented pre-sented by W W Walters to organize an I excursion company for the purpose of bringing a flood of Colorado people to Ogden for the purpose of investments The scheme was thought to be a feasable one by the realty dealers But the best method of conducting the undertaking seemed to be the diverging point Mr Walters Wal-ters rendered an opinion that to draw up a contract signed by each member of the exchange ex-change pledging himself to guarantee a certain per cent of commissions realized from the sales to the excursion company was the only sure way in which the company I com-pany could carry on the business successfully i success-fully H A Smith was of the opinion that a contract with any such stipulations as Mr I Waiters suggested would be a failure from the very start He thought after the contract had been in force a short time I there would bo no end to the kicking when it come to the paying of a part of the commissions com-missions C C Robinson thought a number of excursions ex-cursions would result in much good to the real estate men and to Ogden city but he would not bind himself to any such contract con-tract After considerable discussion a committee commit-tee comprised of W W Watters H A Smith and C C Robinson was appointed to look into the matter and report some amicable plan topersue The offers posted for tho day were as follows Five by 8 rods corner Jackson and Twentyspcond street brick house three rooms 000 cash 1600 Three by S rods onj Adams north of Ttventyfirst brick house 2 rooms and kitchen SGOO cash 18CO Thirty three feet on Washington between be-tween Thirtieth and Thirtyfirst streets No 3050 six room housobath room etc improvements worth 2500 rents 35 half cash 3000 |
