HE POLLED A GUN Willard Carter Once More on the Rampage HE YEARNS FOR HIS OLD HAUNTS He Pulls a Gnn on an Electric Car Conductor Con-ductor and Then He Pines In Jail I Willard Carter horse thief and all around bad man created a panic in a Rapid Transit Tran-sit car last night He boarded a car running run-ning west on South street and after riding a short distance concluded that he would have some fun with the conductor So he pulled out his gun and threatened to shoot the street car man Under the circumstances circum-stances of course the latter didnt have much to say and he exerted himself in trying try-ing to pacify Carter who had a very large jag on The passengers on the car were badly frightened Carters display of arti cry and were much relieved when he finally got off When the car came back Carter was waiting for it and succeeded in stopping it but was not able to get or board The matter was reported to Marshall Mar-shall Young and Carter soon found himself in jaiL
