Blair Will be Acceptable WASHINGTON April 4Mr Tsue iwo Yin the Chinese minister and suite arrived ar-rived last night from Peru A reporter called at the legation today and as the minister could not be seen he called the attention of Mr Ho to a telegram from San Francisco published in the evening to the effect that papers the Chinese efect merchants mer-chants in San Francisco would forward to Washington a protest agaast the appointment appoint-ment of Senator Blair as minister to China Ho evidently speaking bv author ity said no information regarding such a protest had been received and he was con fident shculd it arrive the minister would not present it to the President Ho be lieved Senator Blair would bo acceptable to the people and government China
