Show Open House At 100 Years Chruch for 86 years being converted con-verted at the age of 14. She was baptized at the age of 17 and brought her mother and several sever-al brothers and sisters into the church. She worked as a nanney for a doctor's family in Logan and in Salt Lake City before her marriage. She was educated in private schools in Switzerland. Switzer-land. She received her citizenship citizen-ship in 1939 and is very proud to be an American citizen. SHE IS a wonderful living example to all her children with a cheerful countenance. For this her children give her honor. LINA ZBINDEN DeWAAL Mrs. Lina Zbinden X cWaal will celebrate her lOOtli birthday birth-day July 17. 1981 at an open house to be held in the Bountiful Bounti-ful Utah North Stake, 1540 N. 4th E. at 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the Relief Society Room. A program prog-ram is planned by family members. mem-bers. Friends, relatives and neighbors as well as all ward members are cordially invited. MRS. DEWAAL has a large posterity. She has eight living children, 56 grandchildren, 145 great-grandchildren and 1 1 great-great-grand children. She married William DeWaal June 10, 1910 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The couple lived in Salt Lake City for 47 years, a short time was spent in Logan. William Wil-liam died in 1967. LENA HAS lived with her daughter, Irene Lina Rodgers for 14 years. She was born in Guggisberg Bern Switzerland July 17. 1881. She was the youngest daughter of Ulrich and Marie Zbinden and their were 16 other children. She came to the U.S. when she was 18-20 years old and met and married William ten years later. Her children include Mrs. Mary Jane Cook, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Cornillia Welhemi-na Welhemi-na Von Niederhouser, Logan; Mrs. Lucille Christina Wester-man, Wester-man, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Johanna Hendericha Cook, Elcojon, Calif.; Mrs. Lena Irene Rodgers, Bountiful: John William DeWaal.
