First attendant to the princess was awarded to Shantel Peterson. 4. daughter of Daryl and Diane Peterson. Second attendant to the prince was earned by Brett Taft, 3. son of John and Dixie Taft; and first attendant honors hon-ors were given to Brett Dennis. 5. son of Peyton and Denise Dennis. THE TITLE of princess was awarded to Katie Fahey, also. She proudly and spontaneously spontaneous-ly announced to the MC she wanted to be a "cash register" when she grows up! She likes spaghetti, running through the sprinklers, her sisters, and teasing her daddy. She wants to own a pony some day and her goal for the future is to take "horse lessons." Jereme Byington. 5. son of Kim and Kari Byington excitedly ex-citedly accepted his crown and trophy. Jereme announced he wanted to be a BYU football player. His favorite food is chicken and Lucky Charms, and he enjoys watching "The Dukes of Hazzard." His goal is to go to kindergarten this fall and become an artist some day. BOTH PRINCE and princess prin-cess enjoyed riding on the float in the West Bountiful and Centerville Cen-terville parades. The Bountiful Elks Lodge was packed July I, as parents, grandparents, and well-wishers well-wishers came to see the beginning begin-ning of the Fourth of July events the Miss West Bountiful Boun-tiful Queen Contest, and the Prince and Princen competi tion. ARMANDO MARTIN interviewed inter-viewed 26 3-5 year olds who were seeking the crown of prince and princess of West Bountiful. "The Peanut Butter Gang" eiconed the children, and per formed during pre-show and intermission. Each child received re-ceived a lollipop, photo and beach ball provided by Radio Shack. The children each had had five minute Interview with the judges earlier that afternoon. CHILDREN WERE judged on their personality and performance per-formance on and off stage. Photogenic awards were given to Katie Fahey, S, daughter of Jerry and Margaret Fahey, and Brandon Olsen, 4, son of G. LeGrand and Vera Olsen. |
