Show West BouuitiM of the Reed Bangerters, w ill be guest of honor at a shower July 16. Laurie and fiancee will be married August 6. Lou Chaston and family have been entertaining her mother Lillie Cromey from Pocatello, Idaho. A son-in-law of Lillie was also in West Bountiful visiting with the Chastons. Dana Jeppson and wife Jolene had trouble as they traveled home from Jackson. Eileen Jeppson is going to hercabin near Oakley. Nanella Jones will meet her at the cabin. Trudy Wright and several of the women in the 7th Ward had a progressive garden party July 14. Shirley White. Kitty Hawks. North Carolina, has been visiting in West Bountiful with Wanda Huggins. The Ariel Millers announce that twelve-year-old Julie Nelson, Nel-son, daughter of the Dale Nelsons Nel-sons of West Bountiful, won the drawing for free Janeen Brady tapes. Janeen is becoming becom-ing well-known for her original LDS songs. The Millers were in charge of a booth on the 4th of July where they advertised the music. The Dennis DeBoers journeyed jour-neyed to Salmon, Idaho for the 4th. Dennis placed thirty-seventh thirty-seventh in an area marathon there. Michele Marshall, daughter of the Scott Marshalls, has been visiting with her father and grandmother in Huntsvil-le, Huntsvil-le, Alabama. The Ariel Millers visited with their former South America Amer-ica friend Amelia and husband Roy Sealey. Alma and Esther Miller are preparing to attend the National Nation-al Academy for Child Development. Develop-ment. It is taught by Carol Mil ler of Salt Lake City. Remember the Bountiful Handcart Days, to be held July 23-26. The theme will be, -The Bountiful Land of Plenty." Grand Marshal will be former City Manager Grant Peterson. The parade will be on Thursday, Thurs-day, July 23, 6:30 p.m. There will be bands in review at the Armory. On Friday, July 24. there will be a chuck wagon breakfast at the Bowery at the City Park, a ten kilometer race, a flag raising ceremony, free public swimming, booths, rides, arts and crafts exhibits, swimming competition, soft-ball soft-ball and horseshoe tournaments, tourna-ments, and a variety show. On Saturday, July 25, the Variety Show will be repeated. Sunday there will be a Bountiful Bounti-ful Multi-Regional Fireside, featuring George Durrani as speaker.
