ZAUGG graduated from USU in 1970 where he majored in Dairy Science and took pre-veterinary training. He did graduate work in 5 reproductive physiology at Penn State University and H received his M.S. degree from I there in 1972. He served as laboratory manager for Atlantic Breeders Service Cooperative S in Lancaster, Pa., where he ' J helped improve the artificial insemination conception rate I by four to five percentage points. From there he went to establish a laboratory with Texas Meat Brokerage that specializes in hybrid buffalo. J HE initiated a quality con- I trol program to assure productiont)f high quality semen. m This week Zaugg joined 5 Wallace Taylor and Charles J Mickelsen as extension dairy I specialists in the Department I of Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Science at USU. Working with the county ex- tension agents, they will serve 5 dairy interests throughout the J state. m |
