Show New Day Use Fei For Some Parks1 Jay Christianson, park superintendent su-perintendent at Pioneer Trail State Park, announced that day-use fees have been implemented im-plemented at the park effective last Monday. IMPOSED BUDGET restrictions res-trictions and general austerity in state government have made this increase necessary in order to permit the Utah State Division of Parks and Recreation Recrea-tion to continue operating park and recreation facilities at a level demanded by the user. Day-use fees are: daily, $1 per private (non-commercial) motor vehicle and occupants: 50 cents per person for walk-ins, walk-ins, or bicycles; commercial vehicles, up to 10 persons $2, 11-30 persons $5, over 30 persons per-sons $6. PIONEER TRAIL State Park is one of 44 parks oper ated by the Utah State C sion of Parks and Recreati It is located at 2601 Sunny: Avenue at the mouth of Er ration Canyon. The park includes "Th the Place" Monument, a tor center, Brigham You Forest Farmhouse, Ro1 Glen picnic and recrea area, and sections of the la: miles of the Mormon pb trail from the town of Hen to the Salt Lake Valley.
