Show W. Btfl. Harold and LaRue Hugoe have returned from their mission mis-sion in Louisiana. Stella (Mrs. Elmo Kerr) was honored last Sunday before departing for her mission. Tonya Fernelius is at home recuperating and Sheila McSwain is in traction from an injury to her back while she was surfing in Hawaii. The MIA of the Fourth Ward has entered a tree in the Festival of Tees. The young people cut the tree themselves and made their own decorations. decora-tions. This is a labor of love, as all proceeds from the trees go to the Primary Children's Hospital. Hos-pital. Camille and Patrice Mitchell are thankful that three mounted tires in the trunk of their car helped cushion the shock as a diesel tanker truck plowed into the back of their car. Patrice has a sore back and Camille is wearing a collar col-lar for whiplash and nursing a broken vertibra. We send our condolences to the family of Jon Parkin. Among those attending the funeral were Creed Parkin, Tucson, Ariz.; Ellen Mitchell, Florida; Jenny York, Orem, and Jon's former mission president pres-ident who gave the eulogy. The Fifth Ward Relief Society Soci-ety officers and teachers will hold a progressive dinner party this Friday night. |
