Show Hospital Begins Speakers Bureau BOUNTIFUL If you're faced with finding a speaker for the monthly club meeting or w ant to erase a little of the mystery about hospital care the Lakeview Hospital Speakers' Speak-ers' Bureau can come to the rescue. SET L'P AS a public service to provide health education and consumer information to residents in the south Davis area, speakers are available to discuss topics ranging from hospital cost containment to prevention of back injuries. A minimum of ,15 must attend such a program with two week minimum advance notice asked by hospital staff prior to speaking date. TOPICS AND speakers include: in-clude: hospital cost containment, contain-ment, hospital administration: Medicare, Social Security and insurance, Craig Herget, hospital hos-pital controller: preventing cardiovascular disease. Dr. Grant Christian, internist and cardiologist; rhythm method of girth control, Lynda Short, food service director; what's in the medicine cabinet by Randy King, pharmacy director. Emergency room medicine can be discussed by Dr. Terri Aagaard, emergency room physician while the hazards of radiation and nuclear energy can be brought home by Dr. Richard Hartvigsen. OTHER TOPICS include "The Birth Experience" by Marion Loesch, R.N. and nursing director; "Oh! My Aching Back!" by Dr. Lyle B. Mason, orthopedic surgeon; and "Sugar 'n Spice Mostly Spice" the diabetes problem prob-lem and how to manage it by Annie Holt, R.N.. assistant nursing director.
