Parents of Boulton know that the home is the most important place for teaching children. With parents and teachers 1 working together the children will be the winners. . THE NOVEMBER general PTA meeting was highlighted by a second grade program. Thanksgiving was the theme and the program proved to be a huge success. We appreciate all the extra hours teachers put in. The annual maturation cli- nic was held in the evening this year so working mothers could enjoy this special event with their girls. All sixth grade girls, fourth and fifth who wanted to, were invited. Two short Disney Dis-ney filmstrips were shown, then Dr. Lloyd Hicken spoke. THE GIRLS separated into two smaller groups for discussion, discus-sion, the mothers stayed with Dr. Hicken for a look at toxic shock syndrome. The girls were each given a carnation and the evening ended en-ded with refreshments. Leslie Lawrence, the health commissioner, commis-sioner, was in charge and takes credit for the event. Other things happening at the school have been our annual membership drive, the Halloween carnival, Bell's Photos etc: all carried out by the membership and finance commissioner, Margaret Bess.
