Show Recommend Person ! For Council Post I want the people of Bountiful, Bounti-ful, as well as the mayor, to reflect' on the value of empathy, common sense, and an attitude of fairness for all that I have seen in Bob Robinson. Robin-son. Just plain politicians are discouraging and dissappoint-ing dissappoint-ing us all too often. IT IS time to have someone who is tough-minded but considerate, con-siderate, a negotiator and not a domineering ego on a trip. I know I speak for a lot of people from all parts of Bountiful when I say we need more integrity, in-tegrity, more dedication and less misplaced ambition and impressive credentials. During the past two years. Mr. Robinson has been closely monitoring the problems of people in all parts of Bountiful. Our city needs more vigorous leadership and I think Mr. Robinson can provide that. HE HAS shared with me how he would invite concerned con-cerned citizens to be active advisors. Input would be encouraged, en-couraged, from the professions i and all walks of life; especialiv the young, the old. and the J ' advantaged. I think this ist 1 portant. We have too little S ! being done. He is not afraid ; high odds. 1 In 1979. he filed on the to ! day to run for city council Politically lt was unwise There was little chance to win' but in trying he gave us encour' agement. The two precincts where people knew him voted over 75 percent in support of him. He learned a lot. BEFORE, during, and after this period, he has participated in our concerns and been our spokesman on several successful suc-cessful exchanges with the city council. In your deliberations Mayor Barlow. I trust you will give strong consideration to Robert L. Robinson, 348 W. 2300 S as the replacement for the de' parted Councilman Stephen Studdert. .
