THROUGH its complex design de-sign and structure it allows only man the freedom associated associ-ated with upright two-legged walking. Yet the foot is perhaps one of the least appreciated parts of our body and is given second thought only when it fails to carry a daily load equivalent to several hundred tons. And even then w e merely give it a warm bath, a night's rest and expect top performance perform-ance again the following dav. WE DO this in part because we are unaware of what foot problems can and cannot be treated, and partly because very little attention is given to foot problems h the general physieian.
