Show MISS RUTH TERRY DIES AT HOSPITAL Miss Ruth Terry died at the local lo-cal hospital at 4:20 Wednesday morning following a week's illness ill-ness with plural pneumonia. She was taken ill at Las Vegas, Nevada Neva-da on Tuesday afternoon, February Febru-ary 18 and on Wednesday when her condition became quite serious ser-ious her folks were notified. She was brought ts St. George on Wednesday Wed-nesday and later moved to the hospital, hos-pital, where oxygen was used and everything possible was done for her. She was conscious and conversed con-versed with members of the family, fam-ily, telling them goodbye and until un-til the last her thoughts were of her loved ones. She was very appreciative ap-preciative of all that was done for her' and was very patient in her suffering. She was born at Ephraim, Jan- uary 13, 1916, a daughter of Eph-1 Eph-1 raim and Ida Anderson Terry. She came with her parents to St. George when six months eld and has, spent her life here except for some time when she was employed in Nevada at which time she worked as a Sunday school teacher teach-er in the Boulder City ward. She attended grade school and the Dixie College here where she woii many friends. She is survived by her parents and three sisters, Mrs. Grace Bel'-ezza Bel'-ezza of San Francisco and Roma and Ora Mae of St. George. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 Friday afternoon in the St. George Stake Tabernacle under the direction of Bishop Vernon Worthen of the West ward. |
