Show Bride Awaits please Of Husband From Nayy Announcement is made this week of the marriage of Miss Shirley Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark of this city, and Ellis Fred Fuller, RM 3c, U. S. Navy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis B. Fuller of Spanish Fork. The marriage took place at Las Vegas, Nevada, last Nov. 26, in a ceremony which took place at high noon at the Wee Kirk O' The Heather church, with the Rev. F. C. Lovitt officiating. After their marriage the couple went to San Diego, Calif., to reside until the past week when Mrs. Fuller returned re-turned to this city to await her husband's hus-band's release from the Navy in March. At her marriage, Mrs. Fuller was attended by Bertha Dart of Springville a bridesmaid, and James L. Brown, TM 3, was the groom's attendant. The ceremony was also witnessed by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark, parents of the bride, Mrs. Fuller of Spanish Fork, mother of the groom, and Mr. and Mrs. George Roberts of Waterloo, Iowa. Last Friday evening, Mrs. Full- er was honored with a bridal shower given at Memorial hall and attended ' by approximately sixty relatives and friends. Mrs. Mae Huntington was in charge of a nicely-arranged program in which Miss Joyce Pierce furnish-edtwo furnish-edtwo vocal solos, accompanied by Mrs. Leona Cameron; Jerry Walker gave two readings; Jack Clark and Glenn Law, two piano duets; Frances Clark, two vocal solos, accompanied by Mrs. Annie Forshee. The entertainment was highlighted by an interesting review of the book, "Ether And I," by Will Rogers, given ' by Mrs. Floss Phillips. After the program, delicious refreshments re-freshments were served and the many beautiful weddings gifts were opened by the guest of honor. |
