Show lovely Home Wedding Unites Couple Announcement is made this week of the marriage of Miss Raeola Halladay, daughter of George Halladay of Provo, and Ray Child, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Child The marriage took place Thurs-' day evening, June 26, in a lovely ceremony at the home of the bridegroom's bride-groom's parents with A. G. Peterson Peter-son of the Stake Presidency, uncle of the groom, officiating. The bride was prettily attired in a blue afternoon dress and she wore a beautiful corsage of gardenias gar-denias and rosebuds. After the wedding, the couple was honored with an informal reception re-ception at the Child home, for approximately thirty-five close relatives and friends who witnessed wit-nessed the marriage ceremony. Refreshments were served from a beautifully decorated table holding hold-ing a four-tiered wedding cake which was cut and served by the newlyweds. The couple will reside in Springville. Spring-ville. The bride was the motif of two parties in the form of showers, prior to her marriage. Mrs. Will Child entertained at her home for a large group of relatives rel-atives and friends, who enjoyed a book review by Mrs. Mae Huntington Hunt-ington and readings by Mrs. Mae Child. Refreshments were served and the guests of honor received many lovely gifts. Also, her sister, Mrs. Roger E. Bargar of Provo, entertained at a bridal shower preceding the marriage. mar-riage.
