Show Yergensen-Totgerson Wedding Rites Held At Bride's Home MYTON Miss - Phyllis Ann Yergensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer B. Yergensen. became the bride of Dolan C. Torgorson, of Salina, in a simple ceremony performed at 6 p.m. on October 7, at the home of the bride's parents. par-ents. Bishop L. Clark Roberts of the Myton ward, officiated at the candlelight rites in the presence of family members and a few close friends. A special prayer was offered of-fered by Wendel Johnson. Arrangements Ar-rangements of gladioli formed a background for the ceremony. For her wedding, the bride was attired in an Ann Forsythe original orig-inal in charcoal teal wool, designed with a slim sheath dress, topped with matching jacket trimmed in black velvet and lined with tan-garine tan-garine taffeta. With it she wore black velvet accessories. She carried car-ried a bridal, bouquet of pink and white carnations surrounded by a white lace frill with pink streamers. stream-ers. Miss Yergensen was attended by Mrs. Glendon Rhoades, Vernal, as matron of honor, and by Miss Geniel Shelton, Roosevelt, bridesmaid. brides-maid. Don Morgan, Roosevelt, stood as best man. . A beautifully arranged supper was served to the wedding party at the Frontier Grill in Roosevelt at 7 p.m., with Mr. and Mrs. Yergensen Yer-gensen as hosts. A snowy cloth, strewn with red rosebuds formed a background for the four-tiered wedding cake, frosted in white with silver leaves and topped with a miniature bride and groom, which formed the centerpiece. Mr. and Mrs. Torgorson left immediately im-mediately following supper to make their home in Winnemucca, Nevada. The new Mrs. Torgorson received receiv-ed her education in Myton and Roosevelt schools. She was a senior sen-ior student at Union High School' at the time of her marriage, and was a representative to Girls' State during the past summer. Mr. Torgorson, a son of Mrs. Owen Pernegotti, of Fruita, and Sidney Voyle Torgorson of Salina. graduated from Salina High School and attended Branch Agricultural College at Cedar City for one year. |
