Show up!e Exchanges larriage mi Itiloy, Feb. 18 Wedding vows were exchanged Friday, February 18, by Miss Mar-lene Mar-lene Fredrickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Durrell Fredrickson of Roosevelt, and Ralph Rhoe, son of Mr. Oscar Rhoe, of Burr Oak, Kansas, the marr:age taking place at the home of the bride's aunt and uncle. Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Bellon of Roy, Utah. Bishop Merlin Mer-lin Cook of the Lake View LDS Ward of Roy performed the ceremony. cere-mony. Lighted tapers in tall candleabra and profusions of red and white roses served as the setting for the impressive ceremony cere-mony which took place at 6 p.m. For her wedding the attractive bride chose a biege linen suit, box style, with brown accessories, and a corsage of red and white rosebuds. rose-buds. She was attended by Miss Grace Colton of Roosevelt, who wore a pink faile dress, accented with a white carnation corsage. ! Best man duties were assumed by Terry Bladen, an army associate associ-ate of the groom. Mother of the bride was attired in a grey wool afternoon dress, and she had a pink carnation corsage. Immediately following the ceremony cere-mony the just-weds were complimented compli-mented at a reception, held also at the Bellon home, with approximately approxi-mately fifty guests calling to offer of-fer congratulations. A beautiful three-tiered white wedding cake centered the serving table. It was decorated with red rose buds and topped with the traditional miniature min-iature bride and groom. The newlyweds left for a brief honeymoon trip to Las Vegas and upon their return will make their home in Odgen. The groom is stationed at Hill Field with the Air Force as a radio technician, having been in the service nearly three years. The new Mrs. Rhoe is taking nurses' training at the Dee Hospital in Odgen. She is a graduate of Roosevelt High school. |
