Show Mrs. Elhel Beebs BIRTHDAY PARTY Mrs. Betty Clark gave a party Friday, Aug. 27, in honor of her daughter, Norma's 6th birthday birth-day anniversary. Guests present were: Sherri Jessen, Mac Jes-sen, Jes-sen, Susan Fisher, Jeannie Case Kenneth and Carol Timothy' Mrs. Vendetta Clark and Ann Goodrich, Anna Goodrich, Sharon Shar-on Berrett, Mrs. Marilyn Clark and Mrs. Irene Berrett, of Bluebell. Blue-bell. Games and refreshments were enjoyed by the group and many nice gifts were received by the young guest of honor. Mrs. Lillis Wilkins and grandson, grand-son, Richie Wilkins, of Salt Lake City, spent several days: at the home, of Mr. and Mrs Hardy Perkins. Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher, Jr. and family attended a Fisher reunion at Merkley Park in Vernal, Sunday, Aug. 29. Mr. and Mrs. Med Allred and family and some friends, of I Dragerton, visited at the home 1 of Mr. and Mrs. Dru Allred on 1 Saturday. j Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Young 1 and daughter, Evelyn, of La-point, La-point, were visitors at the homes' of their sons, Boyd, Albert Al-bert and Roy, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Powell and Howard Fowler made a trip to Vernal, Bonanza and Grand Junction, Colorado-, to visit and get some fruit. Mrs. Margaret Maxfield. Mrs. LaRue Fisher, Mrs. Heneritta Carroll and Mrs. Ethel Beebe attended a Relief Society conference con-ference in Duchesne, Monday, Aug. 30th. Mr. and Mrs. Doc Van and family, of Lapoint, were in Al-tonah Al-tonah Saturday. "500" CLUB MEETS The "500" Club met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Perkins, Sunday night for a farewell party for Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell, who are moving to Provo for the winter. A pot-luck pot-luck lunch was served and '500' was enjoyed. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Rust, of Mt. : Emmons, Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Iorg, of Altamont, Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Harry Fieldsted, of Boneta, Irin Rust of Bluebell, Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dump. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Jessen and Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Perkins. The J high score was -won by Hershel Iorg and Mrs. Ned Mitchell. The I honored couple was presented j with a lovely gift. I Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ames and baby, who have been living in Idaho, have moved back to Al- I tonah. I Mrs. Florence Jessen, Mrs. j Minnie Lou Stevenson and Mrs. Arda Ames spent the weekend in Salt Lake City. I Tommy Cnapoose fell off a I horse and broke his arm, Sun-day, Sun-day, Aug. 29th. He was taken , to Roosevelt for medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Dru Allred and I family made a trip to Price, Fri-j Fri-j day to visit their son-in-law and I daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Colen Nielsoh. They returned home j Monday. j Chubb Reay went to Mackay, Idaho, Friday, to visit his brother, broth-er, who is ill. He returned home, Tuesday. I Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Call and family, of Myton, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Jessen and Mr. and Mrs. 1 Reay Jessen one day last meek. I Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sesmken and family, of Price, were visitors vis-itors at the home of Mr. and ! Mrs. Reay Jessen, Monday. Mrs. i Semken and Mrs. Jessen are ', sisters. j Fenton Powell and Lee Jes-I Jes-I sen attended a school bus meet-j meet-j ing in Duchesne, Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel and Preston Allen were transacting trans-acting business in Ft. Duchesne, Monday. Mrs. Hardy Perkins and daughter, Marsha, made a trip to Provo, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark and family attended the 55th wedding anniversary outing of of Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Chatwin of Tabiona, on the Wolf Creek Pass, Sunday, Aug. 29th. Mr. and Mrs. Chatwin are the parents par-ents of Mrs. Clark The Primary gave a program in Sacrament meeting, Sunday. Bonnie Ames,, Doris Allred and Coralie Maxfield sang "Teach, ers' Prayer," with Alta Ames at the piano. Mrs Sarah White, of Tabiona, a special guest, played "O, My Father" on a solobox. Awards were presented to Mrs. Ilez Ames and Mrs. Mable Maxfield Max-field for teaching the longest. Do Root, of San Antonio, Texas, Tex-as, spent a week visiting at the home of Barbara Smith. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Murray and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield Max-field were Sarrah Murray, Clyde Murray and Earl Gardner. Gloria and Donna Oman, of Salt Lake City, spent a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jacobson. Their parents, Mr and Mrs. Jennis Oman, came after them the weekend of Sept. 4th. Mr. and Mrs. .Clarence Smith received word of the birth of a new grandson, born Aug. 10 in Hollywood to' Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Catcott. Mrs. Catcott is the former Norma Smith. Kelly Riley and son, Ernie, went to Salt Lake City, Sunday i for a few days during the week. |
