Show dDIbitfuairies Lova Gines Boyce Lova Gines Boyce, 70, died April 4 in Salt Lake after a long illness following a stroke. She was born on Dec. 26, 1913 in Park City to Lida Lefler and Heber Jones. She married Alies Gines in Duchesne on Dec. 12, 1929. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Gines died on November 22, 1955. She moved to Salt Lake in 1963 and married William D. Boyce on Dec. 3, 1964. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a primary, MIA and visiting teacher. She is survived by her husband, Salt Lake; children, Mrs. Robert (Violet) Humes, of American Fork; Mrs. Ned (Darlene) Clark, of Taylors ville; Mrs. Gayle (Joyce) Pettit, of West Jordan; Shirley Snyder, of Las Vegas; Allen Gines, of Murray; Larry Gines of Riverton; 23 grandchildren, including in-cluding a grandson serving a mission in Hawaii; 10 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters Velda Young, Ray Jones, Farland Jones, and Verda Wilkins. She was preceded in death by son Russell Gines; two granddaughters, Theresa Snyder and Sheila Gines; and brothers Curtis and Reynold Jones. Funeral services were Saturday. Interment was in the Tabiona Cemetery in Tabiona, Utah. |
