Members of tho Quoen Esther Chapter, Chap-ter, No. A, Order of the Eastern Star, entertained last Wednesday af-tornoon af-tornoon from 2 until 3 o'clock in tho club rooms of tho Masonic tomple, at an afternoon tea. Tho afternoon was spent enjoyably by the ladles In noodle work. Tea was servod. Bowls of purple and whlto lavender lilacs adorned tho rooms and tho tea was declared to be one of the best held by tho members of tho Queen Esthor chapter. RETURNED FROM HONEYMOON. Rov. and Mrs. Godfrey Matthews returned Monday afternoon from their honeymoon, spent in Salt Lake. Tho couplo will make their home in Ogden Og-den canyon. TRIP IN CALIFORNIA. Miss Mae Fowlea and hor sister, Mrs. Boatrico Wadsworth, loft today for San Francisco and Los Angeios, where thoy will spend the coming three woeks, on a tour. SILVER TEA. Abraham Lincoln Circle No. 2, ladies la-dies of the G. A. It., will entertain at a silver tea at the homo of Mrs. Grace Bartlett Russell, 2550 Monroe avenue, at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
