Show Sage Lunt, Stephen Piatt recite nuptial vows honey, freshly churned butter, , cold milk out of the can, and I homemade icecream right out' of the freezer to highlight a beautiful and somewhat nostalgic no-stalgic reception. The newlyweds spent 10 days honeymooning in Alberta Canada. They are both graduates of Cedar High and SUSC. The bride received her BA in English and speech and taught 2 years as Debate coach at Fontana High School in Fontana, Calif. She also taught at Chaffey Jr. College in Upland,' Calif. Her church activities have included serving serv-ing as a teacher and Stake Teacher Development leader and was awarded the Golden Gleaner Award this jj,ast spring. Mr. Piatt graduated frcm Utah State in Engineering. Prior to the wedding the bride was feted at snowers given by Mrs. Dee Cowan, Airs. Elwood Corry, Mrs. Lamar La-mar Graff, and the Fontana High School Speech Team. An oriental dinner was also given by Mr. and Mrs. Kent Hulet. j Miss Sage Lunt and Stephen R. Piatt exchanged vows July 5 in rites solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. Dr. and Mrs. Paul R. Lunt and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph B. Piatt are the parents of the young Cedar City coupie. The n e w 1 yweds greeted guests at an old-fashioned reception re-ception on the College Music Bldg. Patio. Guests arrived at the patio, where and 1890 at-mci&phere at-mci&phere prevailed, via horse and buggy frcm the parking lot. Carrying out the 1890 theme the bride's dress of imported French Eye let Embroidery featured a long train and three rows of ruffles around the bottom gown. A Juliette cap was made from the same small eyelet flowers as the dress. A long ninon veil fell frcm the cap. She carried a bouquet of garden flowers. Attending the bride were Mrs. Debbie Merrill, Miss Elaine Spencer, Miss Myree Hulet, Mrs. Randi Lunt, Miss Sally Hunter, Miss Leesa Eld-redge, Eld-redge, Miss Colleen Piatt, and Miss Sally Marrott. l 4 . ,-.v . -vi vw d I I I "r ' 1 . .,.V;;- All - ' ! mlm, 1 f .A . M Flower girls were Misses Jo-Ann Jo-Ann Eldredge, Alison Graff, Amber Graff, Jackie Lunt, Debbie Deb-bie Wright, Joan Leonard, Sharon Eads, and Mary Ann Eads. The b r i desmaids wore white dotted swiss with different dif-ferent colored french ribbon ompasizing the ruffeled sleeve sle-eve and the 12 in. ruffle on the bottom of the dress. The flower girls wore midi length dresses of rosebud print in multicolors, and white organdy and lace pinafores over the top. All the attendants wore multi-colored garlands in their hair. Ushers were Bob and David Piatt and Chris, Ned and Marc Lunt. The mothers of the bridal couple were also dressed in the style of the 1890's with black gored skirts and white blouses. Their flowers were nosegays. Decorations for the reception area wre done by Dawn Hunter. Hun-ter. The patio was decorated with bouquets and arrangements arrange-ments in barrels and old-fashioned old-fashioned pots. The unique refreshments further carried out the 1890 theme.
