EARL F. SKOUGAARD Earl F. Skougaards to observe Golden wedding The children of Mr. and Mrs. Earl F. Skougaard o;' this city are honoring their parents par-ents at an open house Sunday Sun-day afternoon, the occasion being their golden wedding anniversary. The open house will bo held at the Skougard home at 291 South 500 West in Parowan between be-tween the hours of 2:30 and 4:30. An invitation is extended extend-ed to all of the couples relatives rela-tives and friends to call on them during these hours The family requests no gifts, be brought. The couple was married Fb. 26, 1920, and have been Parowan residents since that time. Earl was born in Graver, Grav-er, Colo, to Martin and Clara Winn Skougaard and came to Parowan when a small boy. Mrs. Skougaard was born in Cedar City, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. David Leigh. She resided in that city until her marriage, except for a short time spent in Price. Mr. Skougaard is a veteran of World War I, and served in France and Germany in 1918-19 1918-19 with the AEF. He was a charter member of Parowan Post 20, American Legion and Mrs. Skougaard in its auxiliary, auxil-iary, and both have been active ac-tive in the organization. Their children, who are sponsoring the open house, are Dare and David Skougaard; Skou-gaard; Mrs. Echo Polloch and Mrs. Sally Hunter, all of Cedar Ce-dar City. |
