HARRY REED Miss Judeq Cowan exchanges marriage vows with Harry Reed Miss Judee Cowan became the bride of Harry Reed in a double ring ceremony January 29. Bishop Eldon W. Schmutz officiated at the wedding which took place in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Seventh Ward Chapel. Following the ceremony the newlyweds were honored at a reception in the Sugar Loaf Dining Room. Mr. and Mrs. Dee G. Cowan are the parents of the bride, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Reed, Castro Valley, Calif. , The bridegroom is stationed at Offutt Airforce; Base, Nebraska. Ne-braska. The bride wore an Ivory Satin gown of princess-line styling to the floor with Ven-ise Ven-ise lace. The ellbow length veil was attached to an Ivory satin bow. She carried a cascade cas-cade of pink eymibidium orchids or-chids and pink elegante carnations. carn-ations. Miniature pink straw-flowers, straw-flowers, fern and a shower of streamers completed the bouquet. knit, floor length, hooded dress as her going away costume. cos-tume. ; The newlyweds honeymooned honeymoon-ed in California for a week before going to Nebraska to make their home. The bride attended SUSC where she was a member of Phi Alpha Beta and the Camp-us-Comimunity Orchestra. She also served as president of the Women's Athletic Association. She graduated from the University Uni-versity of Utah in 19G8 and has clone graduate work at Brigham Young University. She taught Home Economics for two years in Dos Palos, Calif. Mr. Reed attended Hayward Junior College where he was a member of the basketball squad. He graduated from the University of San Diego ' in 1968 and is a member of the Christian Science Youth Organization. Or-ganization. He taught 6th grade and math at Dos Palos, Calif, for two years and taught history in Jamul, Calif, for one year. He is a member of the U.S. Air Force. Pre-nuptial courtesies included in-cluded a Linen and Kitchen shower given by Mrs. Milt Sevy and Mrs. Dee Williamson and a Trousseau Tea given by Mrs. Charles R. Hunter and Mrs. Dee G. Cowan. Miss Kristine Cowan was maid of honor and bridesmaids brides-maids were Miss Kathy Cowan, Cow-an, Miss Marilyn Reed, Mrs. Garth Jones, and Mrs. Dee Williamson. They wore wool tweed skirts with pink Dacron Blouses and burgandy Velveteen Velvet-een vests. Junior bridesmaids were Misses Lori and Renae Green and Mary Pendleton. The Misses Green wore Burgandy Velveteen Jumpers and Miss Pendletons was wool tweed. They wore pink Dacron blouses blous-es with them. All attendants carried pink elegante carnations and rase buds with burgandy leaves and straw flowers. Best man was Dana Brown and the ushering was done by Jeff Cowan, Don Jower, and Garth Jones. Master Ben Pendleton Pen-dleton was ring bearer. He wore a pink shirt and burgandy bur-gandy vest to compliment the color scheme. Mrs. Cowan wore a pink and cranberry floor length dress of silk featuring an empire waistline. Mrs. Reed wore a purple crepe floor length gown with beige accessories. Both ensembles were completed with pink Cymbidium orchid corsages. The reception featured a Fondue Buffet. Those attending attend-ing the Fondue Pots were Mrs. Fred Green, Mrs. Haze Hunter, Mrs. Phil Eaird. Mrs. Evan Dobson, Mrs. Max Cowan, Miss Judy Roberts, Mrs. Boyd Leonard, and Mrs. Paul Pendleton. Pen-dleton. Mrs. Maurice Crichton presided pre-sided at the punch bowl and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Glass acted as host and hostess for the evening. ev-ening. Mrs. Milt Sevy was at the guest book. Assisting in the kitchen1 were Mrs. Reed Cox, Mrs. Forrest For-rest Hunter. Mrs. Gordon Knell, Mrs. Dallen Gardner. Mrs. Fred Murray, Mrs. Paul Lunt, Mrs. Elmer Cox.
