Whitney marriage plans told Mr.-and Mrs. Clark Sparks, Nephi. announce the engage-, engage-, ment and forthcoming marriage mar-riage of their daughter, Glenda Jean, to Gary C. Whitney, Whit-ney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gay-lord Gay-lord Whitney of Cedar City. Miss Sparks is a graduate of Juab High School. She is a four year seminary graduate and is presently attending Southern Utah State College as a freshman. She is now reigning as Miss Nephi, Miss Juab County, Delta Phi Kappa Dream Girl and was chosen as Miss Popularity at the SUSC Queen competition. The bride-elect bride-elect is also a representative of the Latter-Day Saint Student Stu-dent Association and is a dance director for one of the college wards. Mr. Whitney is a graduate of Cedar High School and has completed four years of study in the LDS Seminary system. Currently he is attending SUSC. He has served an LDS mission to Ireland and now Is LDSSA returned missionary representative on the SUSC Campus. He is a charter member mem-ber of Tau Beta Sigma fraternity fratern-ity and a member of the Utah National Guard. The popular young couple have set June 25 for their wedding date in the St. George LDS Temple. , .
