Show "Mr. and MrsMoroni Klingonsmith (Smith) Moroni Klingonsmiths to Celebrate Golden Wedding With Open House Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Klin-gonsmith, Klin-gonsmith, better known to friends as Moroni K. Smith, well known residents of Cedar Ce-dar City, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday evening, June 1. For the occasion, they will be honored at an open house an invitation to relatives and friends to call on them during dur-ing these hours. Mr. Klingonsmith was born in Cedar City Aug. 25, 1895, a son of Alfred and Leah Le-titia Le-titia Dover Klingonsmith. His wife, Lois Joice, was born in Beaver July 18, 1899, a daughter daugh-ter of Oliver Either and Al- that evening from 7 to 9 p. m. at the Fifth Ward LDS Church Recreation Hall, 75 East Center Cen-ter St. Their family extends mira Emerette Goodwin Ash-worth. Ash-worth. Their marriage took place in Beaver May 22, 1918. They have made their home in Cedar Ce-dar City since that time. Moroni served in the U. S. Army during World War I and has been a member of the V.F.W. for many years. He is at the present time commander com-mander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of World War I, Post 2343. Joice has been very active in Relief Society and has been a visiting teacher teach-er for 35 years. She is a member mem-ber of the Aunt Margaret Daughters of Pioneers Camp and was just released from office. of-fice. At the present time she is secretary of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and guard for the V. F.W. World War I Auxiliary. They are parents of 7 living liv-ing children, and have 30 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. The family requests that no gifts be given. |
