CHARLES WILLIAM PENROSE I Former Cedar Miss Becomes Bride In Salt Lake Rites At home at 1112 South 9th East in Salt Lake City are new-lyweds, new-lyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Charles .William Penrose. The couple exchanged vows at the Salt Lake LD3 Temple 'on Sept. 2 with Elder Gordon B. Hinckley, assistant to the Council of the Twelve Apostles, officiating. The new Mrs. Penrose Is the daughter of former Cedar City residents, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton James Beaslcy, now residing In Brlgham City. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn J. Penrose of Salt Lake City. Following the temple marriage the parents of the bridegroom hosted the wedding party at a breakfast at the Lion House in Salt Lake City. The same evening eve-ning the couple were honored at a reception, hosted by the bride's parents in Brigham City. For the nuptial occasion the bride selected a floor-length dress with a hand-clipped Chan-tilly Chan-tilly lace bodice with galoon edging on the neckline. Four panels pa-nels of lace adorned the pleated ; bouffant skirt of nylon tulle. A fingertip veil of illusion wa caught to a headband of pleated nylon. She carried a cascading bouquet of white glamelias, ste-phonitls ste-phonitls centered with a white orchid. Attending as matron of honor was Mrs. David B. Chamberlain (Janeen), a twin sister of the bride. Miss Julianne Penrose, sis-Iter sis-Iter of the bridegroom was the bridesmaid. Duties of best man were performed by Bayard . M. Taylor. The new Mrs. Penrose Is a grauate jf Brlgham Young University Uni-versity In Human Development and Family Relationships. At the BYU she was affiliated with To-Kalon To-Kalon Social Unit and the student stu-dent program bureau. Mr. Penrose Is also a graduate grad-uate of BYU in the field of business. bus-iness. He has also served a mission mis-sion for the LDS Church In Great Britain. He Is presently employed employ-ed by Beneficial Life Insurance 'Company In Salt Lake City. |
