Show Carolvn Tones Becomes Bride in Temple Rites I ' La Grand Leigh of Parowan and Miss Carolyn Jones of Para-gonah Para-gonah were united In marriage at rites performed at the St George Temple at high noon on Friday. President Harold S. Snow officiated at the double ring cer. emony before a large group of relatives and friends. The bride's grandfather, J. Leonard Top. ham, and Nelson Taylor, stood as witnesses. Saturday evening the popular couple were feted at a wedding reception at the Church. Assisting Assist-ing the newlyweds In greeting the many guests were their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Jones and Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Taylor. The bride was attended by Miss Joyce Tullis of Parowan, dressed In blue gown, and Miss Marie Ann Rhodes of Cedar City who wore pink. Rodney Jones, Harold Ashworth and Boyd Whit-, Whit-, ney stood with the groom. The bride was lovely In an orl-ginal orl-ginal model, waltz length wedding wed-ding gown. The full skirt was fashioned in three tiers of tulle, each edged with wide Imported lace over taffeta. The fitted waist was . lace over satin, with a sweet heart neckline .and long pointed sleeves. On her head she wore a crown decorated with silver beads. To the crown was fashioned a tulle veil that fell to elbow length. The bridal bouquet was of white daisies and red roses, and her attendants carried like flowers flow-ers arranged in clever baskets. Max Dalley of Parowan was master of ceremonies for the fol- lowing program: vocal numbers by Pres. Howard Knight, Wm. T. Davenport, Norma Lee Mercer and Stuart Adams, and Pat Urle; Instrumental numbers by Heber Lund and the Paragonah Harmonica Har-monica band, and readings by Mrs. Ethel Robb. and Mrs. Olive Edwards. A dance number was given by the Misses Laura Lam-oreaux Lam-oreaux and Sherry Dawn Evans. Prayers were by J. Leonard Topham and J. Lowe Barton. Miss Madolyn Leigh was at the guest register. The many nice gifts were arranged by Mrs. Eva Topham and Mrs. Alene Prothero, while Claud and Claudia Jones, Larry and Dallas Taylor and Lana Jean Topham carried. The refreshments were supervised super-vised by Mrs. Leonard Topham, Mr. and Mrs. Erold Lamoreaux, and Lewis Prothero. The Misses Laura Lamoreaux, Helen Jean Dalton. Patsy Topham, Sherry Dawn Evans and Shirlene Talbot did the serving. j The young couple's honeymoon trip which began on Sunday was to take them to Seatle, Wash, where the bridegroom has employment em-ployment at the Boeing Aircraft plant In that city, where they will make their home.
