Show Parowan Woman, Cedar Man Wed in Temple A marriage ceremony performed perform-ed at the St. George L D S temple tem-ple Wednesday, Mar. 24, united Miss Trudy Ann Adams of Parowan Paro-wan and Willard C. Jones of Cedar Ce-dar City. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ancil J. Adams of Parowan, Par-owan, and the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Marvin Jones of Cedar City. Both are graduates of the College of Southern Utah. The bride is a graduate of the Parowan High School, where she was editor of the school yearbook, year-book, and of the College of Southern South-ern Utah, where she was affiliated affiliat-ed with the Lambda Delta Sigma Sig-ma sorority. She has been attending at-tending the Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural College at Logan during the past two quarters of school. The groom is a graduate of the Cedar City High School, College of Southern Utah and the University Uni-versity of Utah. He served with the United States Navy during Worlld War II and fulfilled a r I two-year mission for the L D S church in the Spanish-American mission field. The young couple will make a home in Cedar City. They were honored at a reception recep-tion in the Parowan First-Second Ward Relief Society rooms Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Vilo Skidmore, as matron of honor; Miss Dolline Mortensen, maid of honor, and Mrs. Afton Bateman, sister of the groom; Mrs. Amy Lou Knight and Mrs. Pauline Hulet as attending matrons. Donald E. Jones stood as best man for his brother. |
