Show LuellaC. Hansen, Church Worker dies; Services and one sister, Mrs. Alveretta Child of Salt Lake City. C Luella Clayton Hansen 83, of Cedar City died September Sep-tember 26, 1979 in the Valley View Medical Center of natural causes. She was born February 9, 1896 in Morgan, Utah to John and Elizabeth Tonks Clayton. On June 6, 1916 she married Clarence Jay Hansen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a very active member of the LDS Church serving in many auxiliaries. She loved music and was a devote mother and housewife. Survivors include one son and one daughter: Dr. Jay Clayton Hansen of Cedar City and Mrs. Lee (Helen) Sauer of Beaumont, California; 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren LUELLA C.HANSEN Funeral services were held October 1, 1979 at 2 p.m. in the Cedar First LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Steve Corry officiating. Prayers were offered by Dr. Jay Hansen, Ernie Humphrey, and Kent Smith. Speakers includes Keith Anderson and Gerald Prince. Musical numbers were sang by J'lene and Cheryl Hansen, Kathleen Killprok and Peter Hansen; "0' My Father" and "Abide With Me". The three sisters also sang "I'm Looking Over A Four Leaf Clover". They were accompanied by Ar-delle Ar-delle Hansen. Flowers and compassionate com-passionate service was rendered by the First Ward Relief Society. Interment was in the Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Calimes, California, under the direction of Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. |
