Show 4 H'ers win Chicago Trip Revue. Joyce Hahne represented Iron County in the 4-1 1 Speech Contest. The Iron County Extension Service would like to take this opportunity to thank 4-h'ers, 4-h'ers, commissioners, parents, council members, schools and the Bank of Iron County, First Security Bank and State Bank of Southern Utah for their loyal support of the 4-H program in Iron County. Out of some 40,000 4-H members in Utah who enetered projects in competition com-petition at County Fairs and te Utah State Fair in Salt Lake City, several have won trips to Chicago for further competition. Winners of Ihe State Record Book Contests who will enter expense-paid contests at the National Congress in Chicago include Cary Chamberlain, Cedar City who won the Citizenship Award for outstanding work he has done in 4-H school, church and community. Other blue ribbon winners from Iron County who attended at-tended the State Contests are Tori Brinkerhoff, Lynette Bradshaw and Jennifer Hunter in Home Economics Judging. Jan Halsey and Nikki Enco in a demonstration "For That After Anything Buffet," Jennifer Hunter and Lynette Bradshaw in the Meal Preparation Contest Featuring Chicken En-chilados. En-chilados. Drew Matthews in Marksmanship and Livestock Judging. Jeanette and Jill Stubbs, Drew Matthews and Carol Gardner Gard-ner placed 4th in the State Livestock Judging Contest. Tori Brinkerhoff and Debbie Allen represented Iron County at the Style Dress |
