Show Burton addresses LDS Forum Marshall T. Burton, director of personnel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be the guest speaker at the LDS Institute Forum to be held Tuesday, October 9. The forum, which is open to the public at no charge, is held each Tuesday at noon at the Institute, 650 West Center Street. The speaker has served as a seminary Principal, Teacher and Coordinator and personnel training and placement for the Church. A native of Salt Lake City he graduated from South High School and attended" the University of Utah and Brigham Young University where he received a doctorate doc-torate degree in education. Currently he is serving on a High Council. He has served a mission for the Church in England and was Mission President of the Ohio West VA. Mission. He is also a past member of the General Board of the Sunday School and has served as a bishop. He is married to the former for-mer June Barlow of Bountiful and they have seven children. |
